Tips For Finding Travel Reviews Online

One of the most important things you can do when booking your next vacation is to find all of the travel reviews available. Simply searching for your hotel plus review in Google doesn’t cut it anymore as these resorts have also figured out that most travelers will do this and they have many times filled the results with positive reviews with a few exceptions. In this article I will give a quick guide to figuring out which reviews to listen to and how to find out what the hotel or resort is really like before booking.
The first thing you want to do when searching for reviews is always use multiple websites. One website, no matter how good it is, won’t cut it. So start off by grabbing about three different review websites that you find plus if you don’t already have it you will need to include TripAdvisor. In my opinion TripAdvisor is leaps and bounds above any other travel review website as they not only have a system set up to give you multiple takes on reviews they also sort these by their algorithm that finds which reviews are probably written with the most quality. The best thing about TripAdvisor when compared to other travel review websites is that they have photos and videos from users who have been to these resorts and hotels so you can not only see it first-hand but also confirm that they’ve actually been there.
Quality reviews are key as reviews that give one star or five star but give no detail about the stay can many times be someone who has never visited or may be someone you wouldn’t want to take advice from anyways. No matter if the review is negative or positive the key is to find reviews of quality that give specific details about the place you are staying as well as describes all aspects of the resort in a way that you know they have been there but at the same time isn’t a competitor or the resort itself giving a review.
So when looking for reviews the tips are to first make sure the website is legit, next that you compare multiple websites, also see videos and photos from users if possible, and most of all take all of the legitimate reviews in mind and compare multiple sources. Even if one person likes the resort doesn’t mean that it will fit all of your needs. By looking through these reviews and using these tips you can get a general consensus on whether your travel pick is the right place for you or whether you should avoid it.
